Eliminate guess work for customers. Allied Fastenings consultants will provide guidelines and technical backup for determining the suitability of a particular component assembly for a specific application whether it be for Potable or Wastewater.
Following three years of product development and testing, this is a significant step forward by respective water authorities to ensure the AS/NZS4020 Standard for potable water is adhered by suppliers and contractors. It has been clearly articulated, authorities intend to strictly police this standard now that a viable elastomeric gasket option for potable water is available.
It should be noted the Allied Fastenings Blue EPDM Gasket is the only reinforced elastomeric Blue EPDM gasket which meets AS/NZS4020 approved by the Australian Water Standards Authority suitable for the potable water market in NZ. This approved formulation is supplied exclusively through Hygrade, a member of the Hynds Group of companies.
Further to this advice it should be noted Watercare also stipulate Molybond anti-seize to be used on Stainless Steel bolting assemblies. Allied Fastenings distribute genuine Molybond coated stainless components also through the Hygrade networks.
In keeping with company practice Allied Fastenings will only supply to ISO or nationally recognised Standards – this practice will not be compromised.Invented in Germany in the mid 1920's
